Welcome to Alpha, a product of AfterHour ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Alpha mobile application ("App") or our website at alpha.so ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App or Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Alpha, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Alpha is an AI-powered trading application that allows users to explore trading strategies, paper trade (simulated trading), and interact with AI-driven market analysis tools. Alpha does not facilitate real-money trading at this time. All trades executed within Alpha are simulated using paper trading functionality.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@alpha.so if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload malicious code or content

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Alpha — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by AfterHour and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. No Investment Advice

Alpha is not a registered broker-dealer or registered investment adviser. The information and tools provided through Alpha are for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing in the App constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. See our Disclaimer for more details.

7. Paper Trading Disclaimer

All trading functionality within Alpha is simulated. Paper trading results do not reflect actual market conditions and should not be relied upon as an indicator of future real-trading performance. Simulated trading does not involve real money or actual securities transactions.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AfterHour shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AfterHour, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
